1 Application
___ foreign students living in Tokyo will be admitted in April.
2 Qualification( as of April, 2013 )
The applicant must
- be born before April 2nd, 1998.
- live in Tokyo with their parent(s)
and not be enrolled at any high school or college
at the time of making application to this school.
- be registered as a foreign national.
- and satisfy one of the following
three requirements.
(a) The applicant must complete a 9-year course of school education abroad
by the end of March, 2013.
(b) The applicant must complete a 9-year course at an educational facility
for foreign residents in Japan which is equivalent to a 9-year course
of
Japanese compulsory education by the end of March, 2013.
(c) The applicant must complete a 9-year course of school education in Japan.
And the entry date must be within three years as of April 1st, 2013.

Applicants or their parent(s) should come to Kokusai High School to confirm the qualification prior
to submitting the application on the dates below:

Sat. 15 December 2012 9:00a.m. - 12:00 noon,

3 Application Submission (as of April, 2013)
(a) When to Submit

Tokyo Metropolitan Kokusai High
School office (Application by mail are not accepted)
(c) What to Submit
(1) The Official Application Form (「様式国際外国−1」)
(2) The Certificate of the academic record of the applicant's last school
year prior to
applying to Kokusai High School.
This document must contain certification that the applicant has satisfactorily completed a 9-year course of school education abroad or at an educational facility
for foreign residents in Japan.
(3) "Juminhyo-kisaijiko shomeisho" of the applicant, and the parent(s)
issued by
a municipal office in the applicant's residential area, or the equivalent.
(4) The form of the entry date
The applicant qualified by 2(c) is required to submit the form in which
the date
of entry into Japan is recorded.
(5) The Applicant's Personal History.
(6) Receipt
of Entrance Examination Fee
Applicants are required to pay \2,200 after December 1st, 2012 to the specified banks or
post
offices as listed on the back of the payment form.
Receipt
of the fee has to be attached to the back of the Application Form and to
be shown at the time of the application.

(1) Applications should be delivered to the school office by hand.
(2) No change can be made once the application
has been submitted.

4 Examination

5 Announcement of Successful Applicants

School

Notification to the Successful Applicants
A letter of acceptance (Goukaku-tsuchisho)
will be given to students or their parents at the
school office during the period stated below:

6 Entrance Formalities
Successful applicants are expected to complete the "School Entrance Agreement Form" in order to
conclude the entrance formalities at the
school office within the period stated below.

Those who have not finished the entrance formalities within the due date will be regarded as having
abandoned their application.
The School Entrance Agreement Form is invalid
unless The School Entrance Fee of \5,650 is paid.
The payment deadline is specified in the
letter of acceptance (Goukaku-tsuchisho).
7 Other Matters
(a) Applicants who do not comply with the Application Qualifications, or have failed to complete
and present all the necessary forms,
or have given false statements, will be disqualified even if
they had been accepted to Kokusai High School.
(b) All classes at Kokusai High School are taught in Japanese except for foreign
language classes.
