Admission in September 2013
(exclusively for students of foreign residents in
Tokyo)
Schedule is as follows. :
(1)Application Submission : Wednesday
July 3 9:00am〜3:00pm
Thursday July 4 9:00am〜noon
(2)Examination Date : Monday July 8 8:30am〜
(3)Announcement of Successful Applicants:
Wednesday July 10 9:00am

from Monday, May 27th at the school office of Kokusai High School
1. Application
The number of students (either returnees or foreign students) accepted in September, 2013 : 15
2. Qualification of Foreign Residents in
Tokyo
1.The applicant has to have foreign nationality and live in
Tokyo with his/her parent(s),
2. The applicant should be 15 years old or older as of March 31, 2013
3.The applicant has to satisfy one
of the following two requirements.

He/She is expected to finish a 9-year course of school education abroad within the period of April to August, 2013.
-
He/She is expected to finish the course at an educational facility for foreign residents in Japan which is equivalent to a 9-year course of Japanese compulsory education within the period of April to August, 2013.

An applicant or his/her parent(s) is/are advised to
come to Kokusai High School and confirm the qualification prior to submitting
the application.
3. Application
Period and place for application:
Period: Wednesday July
3, 2013, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Thursday July 4, 2013, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Place: Tokyo Metropolitan Kokusai High School
4. Required Forms and Procedures
a. Forms required for application
(1) The Official Application Form
(2) Official transcript(s) of the applicant's last school year. These document(s)
should be certified originals (sealed or stamped by the school). This(These)
document(s) must contain certification that the applicant has satisfactorily
completed a 9-year course of school education abroad or at an educational
facility for foreign residents in Japan.
(3) "Juminhyo Kisaijiko Shomeisho" of the applicant and the parent(s)issued
by
a municipal office in his/her residential area, or the equivalent.
(4)Personal History
Please fill in the form according to the
example.
b. Entrance Examination Fee: Applicants should pay ¥2,200 (exact fee, only by cash) to the school office of Kokusai High School
at the time of application.
c. How to Submit the Application:
(1) Application is to be delivered by hand to the school office of Tokyo
Metropolitan Kokusai High School. Application by mail is not accepted.
(2) No change can be made once the application has been received.
5. Examinations
-
Examination Subjects:
Composition and interview either in Japanese or in English.

Date and Test Place:
Date: Monday July 8, 2013 at 8:30 a.m.
(The time for the composition and interview is given on the Admission Ticket to Entrance Examination.)

※Parent(s) of the applicant is/are requested to accompany him/her to the
interview.
6. Announcement of Successful
Applicants

Wednesday July 10, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at Kokusai High School

Notification to the Successful Applicants:
A letter of acceptance ("Gokaku-tsuchisho") will be given to
students or their parents
within the period stated below:
Tuesday July 10, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Wednesday July 11, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon

7. Entrance Formalities
Successful applicants are expected to complete the ‘School
Entrance Agreement Form’ in order to conclude the entrance formalities within
the period stated below:
Wednesday July 10, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Thursday July 11, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Place: Tokyo Metropolitan Kokusai High School
Those who have not finished entrance formalities within the
above-mentioned period will be regarded as having abandoned
admission.
The 'School Entrance Agreement Form' is invalid unless the school entrance
fee of \ 5,650 is paid.
Payment deadline is specified in the letter of acceptance ("Gokaku-tsuchisho").
8. Other Matters
-
Students who are found to have improperly taken Entrance Examination, or those who have failed to complete or present all the necessary forms, or those who have given untrue answers will be disqualified, even though they have been accepted to Kokusai High School.

All lessons are conducted in Japanese except for foreign language
classes.
